When the sun has just dawned, the sea of Hai Hoa Comune is gradually covered with a brilliant yellow colour. The sound of waves rushing to the shore is overwhelmed by the laughter and calls of tourists who woke up early to welcome the dawn. Along the coastal road or under the long stretches of fine sand, people sunbathe, play and swim. The fresh air, warm water and rising sun bring positive energy for travelers to start their journey to discover the sky and waters of Thanh Hoa.

Compared to many other localities, the beaches in the south of Thanh Hoa province such as Hai Hoa, Hai Linh, Hai Thanh and Bai Dong are all newly "awakened" destinations. Thanks to this, these lands always keep a peaceful look as they are not too crowded and noisy even during peak season in summer. Right in Hai Hoa, just going a little ffurther from the centre, visitors can immerse themselves in nature with blue sea, golden sand, and casuarina trees whispering on the shore. Here, people can see Hon Me island in the distance while inhaling the salty scent of the ocean.

Making friends with the sea are mountains and undulating rocky outcrops and reefs, adding to the already charming scenery with a wild look. Many of the beaches here are blocked at both ends by small mountains. For young tourists, the most interesting point for taking photos is the Sun Rocky Outcrop. Arriving at Dragon Reef, the rocks become resting places to watch the sunset and the boats slowly return to the shore. Bai Dong has its own majesty with the undulating cliffs reaching the coast to welcome the silvery waves. Right at the foot of Lach Bang temple, there is also a natural stone beach located at the foot of the mountain, where people can wander around to catch fiddler crab and look for small fish.

The attraction of the coastal lands of Thanh Hoa is also the rusticity of the old fishing villages, the traditional markets with stalls selling local specialties, and the traditional fish sauce craft village of Do Xuyen – Ba Lang where all the salty scent of the sea creeps into every house and road.
