A conference on coordination in implementing foreign affairs took place between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations, the National Assembly (NA)'s Committee for Foreign Affairs and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO).

In the context that the world is going through many great, profound and complex changes, foreign affairs work continues to be implemented synchronously and effectively on all external pillars, at all levels, achieving many important results, that have made positive contributions to the country's socio-economic development achievements.

The conference emphasised that the coordination between the four agencies is increasingly close and effective, contributing to promoting the strengths of the foreign policy pillar and the synergy of Vietnam's diplomacy.

The conference discussed many measures to strengthen coordination between the four agencies in performing the Party and State's external tasks, identifying directions and major tasks that the four agencies need to focus on and coordinate in implementing during 2022 and the next period, successfully implementing the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress.

On this occasion, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son presented medals for their diplomatic career to several officials of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations, the NA's Committee for Foreign Affairs and the VUFO, who have outstanding achievements, actively contributing to strengthening the cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign agencies over recent years.
