The event, which was held by the Central Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers’ Organisation and the Vietnam Women's Union, saw the attention of over 200 children from the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue.

The festival aims to promote education on traditional values of the homeland and the country, and praise children with outstanding academic results.
The children joined together for art performances and cultural exchange programmes, depicting the love for the motherland and honouring beloved President Ho Chi Minh.

They also learned about the cultural values of regions and ethnic minority communities, played folk games, experienced local dishes, and admired an exhibition of children’s paintings.
