The 120-minute program includes a 30-minute tour featuring documents, artefacts, and incense offerings at the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Fallen Soldiers Memorial Area at the Cu Chi Traditional House.

The tour is followed by a 90-minute stage play introducing the land, people, history and heroic tradition of Cu Chi.

The play is narrated through the perspective of the spirit of an American soldier who died in Cu Chi. Audiences will witness an emotional story highlighting the sacrifices and bravery of Cu Chi's soldiers and residents during fierce resistance days.

The cast comprises local performers, mostly amateur actors, farmers and workers.

Directed by Le Quy Duong, the play’s script was inspired by the life of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Ranh (1900 - 1979), who lost eight children and two grandchildren due to the war while actively participating in battles throughout both national resistance wars against France and America.

According to Pham Thi Thanh Hien, Chairwoman of the Cu Chi District People's Committee, the programme aims to pay tribute to the sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and fallen soldiers, helping cultivate love and national pride for the homeland among younger generations.

Following its premiere on December 12, the program will be held every Saturday and Sunday from 7 PM to 8:30 PM at Cu Chi Traditional House in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City, from December 22.
