NDO – The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) on November 15 issued a decision on organising the first Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) in Vietnam.

Accordingly, the MCST has allowed the Central Documentary and Science Film Studio in coordination with the Wallonie-Bruxelles delegation in Vietnam, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium, and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Vietnam and the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF)’s Asia-Pacific Office to organise the above event from December 10-12, 2021.

The first FESPACO event in Vietnam will bring to the audience four special feature films.

The decision states that the films can only be screened within the framework of the Film Festival after a decision on permission for dissemination is issued by the MCST's Cinema Department.

The organisation of the film festival shall comply with regulations on prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.
