This is the first exhibition held by the HPS to honour the great contributions by senior photographers to the Fatherland’s defence and development, as well as photographic movements in Hanoi and across the country. Many of them are HPS founding members and have been awarded noble titles from the Party and State and other awards in photography.

On display are 115 photos, featuring the lively nation and people of Vietnam through the lenses of the 22 senior photographers, with valuable historical and photographic values during the country’s history and development.

HPS Chairman Dang Dinh An said that the photos depict an extremely beautiful Vietnam with several prominent photos captured by photographer Vu Quang Huy, who impressed with a collection on Uncle Ho and General Vo Nguyen Giap, or the graphic photos on General Giap by photographer Hoang Kim Dang.

The exhibition is taking place at the Hanoi Information and Exhibition Centre, No. 93 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, from December 14 to 16.
