Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang attended the event.
The Central Council for the Theory and Criticism of Literature and Arts (CCTCLA) also presented four A prizes, six B prizes and five C prizes to outstanding works.
The Department of Culture - Arts from Nhan Dan Newspaper and other collectives were also honoured for their contributions to the development of the nation’s theory and criticism of literature and arts.
On the same day, the CCTCLA held its 6th session, aiming to review its activities in the first six months of 2019 and set goals for the remaining months of the year.
The Council has made practical contributions to the review of five-year implementation of Resolution No.33-NQ/TW of the 11th tenure Party Central Committee on developing the comprehensive Vietnamese culture, bearing the typical characters of nationality, humanity, democracy and science.
