Art programme to celebrate National Reunification Day

An art programme entitled ‘Melodies of the Motherland’ will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on April 29 to celebrate the 46th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2021).

Hosted by the Department of Performing Arts and directed by People’s Artist Nguyen Quang Vinh, the event will include three parts: ‘An epic song’, ‘A unforgettable song’, and ‘Melodies of the Motherland’.

Songs and dances at the programme praising the glorious Party and beloved Uncle Ho while inspiring patriotism and national pride among the audience.

The programme will bring together veteran and popular artists including People’s Artist Thai Bao, Meritorious Artists Duc Long and Dang Duong, and singers My Linh, Hoang Quyen, Ngoc Anh, Anh Tho and Pham Thu Ha.

The programme is scheduled to be broadcast live on Vietnam Television’s Channel 2 at 8pm on April 29.
