Korean Air is the first foreign airline to apply this service for international flights departing from Da Nang.

Ten self-check-in kiosks are arranged at the international terminal for passengers to conduct check-in procedures for themselves. A passenger assistant team was also established to help passengers with the check-in procedures.

The check-in process is clearly displayed on the touch screen with bilingual content to facilitate passengers.

Upon arrival at a self-check-in kiosk, visitors must select their airline and language, then scan their passport or itinerary bar code or enter their booking reference number. After that, passengers may confirm their flight and seat selection and print their boarding pass.

According to Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT), the entire self-check-in process takes about 2 to 5 minutes, while it takes more than 15 minutes if passengers queue to conduct procedures the traditional way.

Deputy General Director of AHT Do Trong Hau said the company will continue to work with all airlines operating at Da Nang International Terminal to soon put more self-check-in systems into operation.
