Works on display include 31 photos, posters and objects introducing the history, practice, and cultural values of the two heritages.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of Dak Lak Provincial Museum Dinh Mot said, that the two-month exhibition aims to popularise the cultural value of Phu Tho’s two treasure heritages, thus nurturing patriotism and appreciation for the country’s history and culture among visitors.

It also provides an opportunity for the staff of Dak Lak and Hung Vuong provincial museums to exchange professional and in-depth knowledge and experience about museums and museology, thus improving their operations and better serving visitors.

Xoan singing and the worshipping rituals of the Hung Kings were recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2012 and 2017, respectively.

According to researchers, Xoan singing in Phu Tho and the worship of Hung Kings have a strong bond as Xoan singing is performed during the ritual.
