The visit was part of the National Press Festival 2026, which is being held in Hai Phong.
In a solemn atmosphere, delegates expressed their profound gratitude to Nguyen Duc Canh, a steadfast communist and an outstanding pioneer leader of the Party and the Vietnamese workers’ movement. They also paid tribute to generations of revolutionary predecessors who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, construction, and defence.
The delegation also reaffirmed the determination of journalists nationwide to forge a professional, humane, and modern Vietnamese revolutionary press capable of meeting the demands of the digital era. The press will continue fulfilling its mission to spread positive values, safeguard the Party’s ideological foundation, bolster public trust, and inspire aspirations for a prosperous and happy Viet Nam.
