The festival attracted contestants from more than 20 countries and territories. Dang Cong Danh impressed the judges with his performance of "It Ain't Necessarily So", an aria from George Gershwin's acclaimed jazz opera Porgy and Bess, following months of intensive preparation under the guidance of vocalist and lecturer Dao Nguyen Vu.

The second-year undergraduate, from Hai Phong, refined every aspect of his performance, from vocal technique and rhythmic interpretation to stage presence, earning praise for his musical maturity and confidence.

His tutor, Dao Nguyen Vu, described him as one of the academy's most dedicated students, praising his discipline, self-directed learning and determination.

"The gold medal is a well-deserved reward for his perseverance," Vu said. "What impresses me most is not only his achievement, but also his genuine love of music and his commitment to continuous improvement."
