Exhibition featuring the beauty of Hanoi opens

About 150 documents and photos featuring the beauty of Hanoi’s past, are on display at an exhibition which opened in Hanoi on October 6.

The event was held jointly by the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre and the National Archives Centre I, as part of activities to celebrate the 69th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954-2023).

Speaking at the opening Ceremony, Associate Professor Tran Duc Cuong, Chairman of Vietnam Association of Historical Sciences spoke highly of the efforts made by the organisers, in bringing to the public precious documents about Hanoi’s past.

The exhibition showed the profound change of Hanoi, at the same time provided the public an opportunity to rediscover the ancient beauty of many century-old historical architectural works, in the Capital city.
