This event is part of a series of activities commemorating the 77th anniversary of the force’s commitment to President Ho Chi Minh’s Six Teachings, the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces, and the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union.

The festival honours Vietnamese Ao Dai’s beauty, promotes the image of women in the security forces, and enhances cultural exchanges. Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, emphasised that the festival is an opportunity to bring the force closer to the public and highlight their dedication to national security.

Key activities included a mass Ao Dai dance performance, fashion showcase featuring professional models and female officers, and a parade of women in traditional attire. Representatives from international police forces also participated, displaying their official uniforms.

Additionally, the event launched the “Charming women of the public security forces” photo contest and the “Glory of the public security forces” Gala, celebrating the contributions of women in the force. Cultural exchanges between Vietnamese female officers and their counterparts from other nations further enriched the programme.

In the afternoon, various performances and exhibitions took place around Hoan Kiem Lake, including a motorcade parade, a brass band performance, and police dog training demonstrations, creating an engaging experience for locals and visitors alike.
