The programme featured three chapters themed “Independence–Freedom”, “Aspiration for Peace” and “Proud Viet Nam Enters a New Era”. It brought together leading artists and singers, including People’s Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artists Huynh Khai, Hanh Thuy, Quynh Huong and Khanh Ngoc, as well as Phuong Thanh, Dan Truong, Lam Bao Ngoc, and the Lac Viet group.
Performers delighted audiences with popular songs that have accompanied generations of Vietnamese people, including “The Melody of the Fatherland”, “The Fatherland in the Sunshine”, “Continuing the Story of Peace”, and “Proud to Be Vietnamese”.
Other art programmes were staged during the National Day holiday at outdoor venues in Central Park in Binh Duong Ward and at Ba Ria Square Park in Ba Ria Ward.
On the same day in Tuyen Quang Province, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosted a special programme entitled “Epic Song – A Historic Autumn” at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square.
The 65-minute performance was staged by the Tuyen Quang Provincial Ethnic Art Troupe, with the participation of professional artists, performers, and students from Tan Trao University.
The programme portrayed President Ho Chi Minh’s journey to find a path to national salvation, his profound affection for Tuyen Quang’s ethnic communities, the province’s socio-economic transformation, and its people’s aspiration to build a prosperous and happy country.
The performances helped foster national pride, strengthen great national unity and encourage public efforts to achieve development targets in the new era.
In Dong Nai City, the municipal People’s Committee organised an art programme entitled “Glorious Fatherland of Viet Nam”, followed by a fireworks display near Hoa An Bridge.
