The works on display are arranged in five topics, featuring the plastic waste pollution situation in Vietnam and countries around the world, the causes and consequences of plastic waste, and solutions to reduce plastic waste pollution, and activities taken by organisations and individuals to address the issue.
The exhibits also suggest to viewers on how to reduce plastic waste, including using reusable bags when shopping instead of single-use plastic bags, recycling plastic products once to prolong their lifespan, practising waste separation, and holding clean-up activities.
The exhibition, jointly held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Phu Yen provincial People’s Committee, will run until August 21.
