Food and Hotel Vietnam 2013 attracts nearly 440 businesses

Nhan Dan Online - An international exhibition entitled Food and Hotel Vietnam 2013 opened today in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 434 businesses from 35 countries and territories.

This year's fair has recorded a 63% increase in the number of participating businesses compared to the previous exhibition and the highest in the history of the event.

Nineteen groups of pavilions from 14 countries and territories are being showcased on an area of 8,800 square metres. In particular, a most impressive pavilion of the European Union is making its maiden debut, with the aim of introducing European taste and geographical indications to participating cuisine experts and producers.

The three day event will provide participants with opportunities to connect and learn from leading experts in the field.

The biennial exhibition was first organised in 2004 and considered as a leading commercial event in the Vietnam food and hotel sectors.
