Continuing the programme of the first session of the 16th National Assembly, on the morning of April 7, the National Assembly held a meeting to hear the presentation and the verification report on the organisational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term.
Afterward, the National Assembly discussed and voted to approve the organisational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term using the electronic voting system.
The result was that 488 out of 488 delegates participating in the vote approved (equal to 100% of the National Assembly delegates present and 97.60% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).
After hearing the presentation of the draft Resolution on the organisational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term by National Assembly Standing Committee member Le Quang Manh, the National Assembly proceeded to vote on the Resolution using the electronic voting system.
The result showed that 488 out of 488 delegates participating in the vote approved (100% of the National Assembly delegates present and 97.6% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).
Accordingly, the National Assembly resolved that the organisational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term will consist of 14 ministries and 3 ministerial-level agencies, including: the Ministry of National Defence; the Ministry of Public Security; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the Ministry of Home Affairs; the Ministry of Justice; the Ministry of Finance; the Ministry of Industry and Trade; the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; the Ministry of Construction; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Ministry of Science and Technology; the Ministry of Education and Training; the Ministry of Health; the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs; the State Bank of Viet Nam; the Government Inspectorate; and the Government Office.
