While presenting meaningful Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, and ethnic minority groups, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man encouraged the local people to continue striving, work hard to escape poverty, and engage in production and business activities to improve the material and spiritual lives of each family.

He asked the Party committees, local authorities, and mass organisations of Tra Vinh Province and Cau Ngang District to continue caring for policy families and the poor. Especially in 2025, efforts should be made to eliminate temporary housing and ensure progress in implementing national programs aimed at developing the socio-economic conditions of ethnic minority and mountainous areas, achieving sustainable poverty reduction, and building new rural areas to ensure the well-being and happiness of the people.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man sent his best New Year wishes to the policy beneficiary families, poor households, near-poverty households, ethnic minority groups in Cau Ngang District, and the officers and soldiers of the My Long Border Guard Station.

The NA Chairman expressed his pleasure, warmly praised, and acknowledged the positive results of Cau Ngang District and the My Long Border Guard Station, which contributed to the overall success of Tra Vinh Province in 2024. Notably, Cau Ngang District achieved and exceeded all 29 targets, with total budget revenue reaching nearly 984 billion VND, and the average income per capita being 82.84 million VND.

He urged the officers and soldiers of the My Long Border Guard Station effectively implement two strategic tasks building and defending the Fatherland, while ensuring the Border Guard Post remains clean and strong, capable of responding to combat readiness in all situations to protect the coastline.

The NA Chairman stated that, at a recent meeting between the Government and localities, Party General Secretary To Lam attended and emphasised that 2025 is the year for the whole country to strive to achieve and exceed socio-economic targets, ensure national defence and security, and build a political system that is more advanced than in 2024.

For the My Long Border Guard Station, NA leader Man requested that the officers and soldiers should continue to build on the achievements of 2024, the 50-year tradition of the unit, and the legacy of the Vietnam People's Army. They should remain ready to fight and sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the people’s happiness, towards completing all tasks and overcoming all difficulties.

At the My Long Border Guard Station, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the delegation’s members presented gifts to the officers and soldiers of the station, as well as 60 gift packages to policy beneficiary families, poor households, near-poverty households, ethnic minority groups, and border guard officers and soldiers facing difficult circumstances.

Also this morning, the top legislator visited and gave Tet gifts to Son Van Duoc, born in 1955, a respected figure among the ethnic minority community in Hamlet 4, Ward 8, Tra Vinh City.
