With great potential and value on sea and islands, Hai Phong has been selected as the host of the first Vietnam Sea and Island Folklore Festival, which will be held on April 28-29.
The total state budget revenue of Hai Phong, reached more than 106.6 trillion VND (more than 4.53 billion USD) by the end of 2022, announced by the City People’s Committee.
A fine arts exhibition is being co-held by the northern city of Hai Phong and the Republic of Korea’s Gwangju city, displaying over 100 works by 90 painters from both sides.
The 2022 Japanese Film Festival will be held in four major cities in Vietnam, including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, from October 21 to November 27, according to the Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam.
