Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau attended the event and cut the ribbon to inaugurate the project on the construction and preservation of the K15 Wharf historical complex in Do Son Ward.
The site is a historical relic associated with the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea and holds important significance in educating younger generations about revolutionary traditions and patriotism.
Alongside the project at K15 Wharf, Hai Phong also commenced and inaugurated numerous important projects in the fields of transport infrastructure, industry, social welfare, energy and urban development.
Notable projects include: construction of the Cat Bi Victory Monument at Cat Bi International Airport; infrastructure development for the Hoang Dieu Industrial Park; construction and operation of infrastructure for Phase 1 of the Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park; Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park; the road connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10; Van Uc 2 Bridge on the Ninh Binh-Hai Phong Expressway; along with several other industrial and social infrastructure projects.
The simultaneous commencement and inauguration of these projects during the Red Flamboyant Festival-Hai Phong 2026 affirms Hai Phong’s determination to accelerate the progress of key projects, improve people’s quality of life, and generate additional momentum for growth in the new development phase.
