Head of PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education meets voters in Tay Ninh

Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC), and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education, on September 30, met local voters in Tan Bien and Duong Minh Chau districts in the southern province of Tay Ninh before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.

The party official informed voters of both domestic and international affairs, expressing his delight at stable economic development, national defence, and social order and safety in the locality.

He said that the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to pass 16 laws and two resolutions, and give opinions on 12 draft laws. The National Assembly will also evaluate the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2024 and decide the socio-economic development plan, the state budget estimate, and the central budget allocation plan in 2025.

At the meeting, voters made some recommendations on the age limit for social assistance policies for the elderly, the upgrading of National Highway 22B, and the investment in the national power grid system and telecommunications stations in border areas.

Nguyen Trong Nghia also received and responded to voters’ opinions on health and education issues. He expressed his hoped that Tay Ninh voters and the local political system will promote their revolutionary tradition and unite to overcome difficulties and build a prosperous Tay Ninh province.
