The Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Award was held in Singapore on March 28.
Anan Saigon at No.89 Ton That Dam, Ben Nghe, District 1 is ranked 40th on the list. The restaurant also reached the top 50 best restaurants in 2021.
Peter Cuong Franklin, the Chef of Anan Saigon, used to study at Le Cordon Bleu and had working experience at famous restaurants like Caprice in Hong Kong and Alinea in Chicago.
The restaurant specialises in street food-inspired dishes created by award-winning chef Peter Cuong Franklin.
Singapore and Thailand own the most representatives in the top 50 this year, including nine restaurants.
This year’s first place was awarded to Le Du restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand operated by chef Thitid Tassanakajohn. This restaurant specialises in local dishes, offering a four- and six-course tasting menu focused on seasonal Thai ingredients.
