At the meeting, Nguyen Xuan Thang thanked Ambassador Orlando Nicolás Hernández Guillén for his good sentiments towards Vietnam and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. He also highly appreciated the Ambassador's efforts and contributions in promoting the Vietnam-Cuba friendship.
The Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics discussed the cooperation contents between the Academy and Cuban partners in recent time as well as the delegation exchange activities to strengthen the solidarity and friendship between the two countries and their party schools — Nico Lopez Senior Party School and Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
The two sides also exchanged experiences on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and the work of the political school along with the Practical Survey Research Programme in Vietnam for leaders and managers of the Communist Party of Cuba.
Nguyen Xuan Thang wished Orlando Nicolas Hernández Guillén much success in his new work, continuing to contribute to the increasingly substantive and effective Vietnam-Cuba friendship in the coming time.
