The first working session of the 14th Viet Nam Trade Union Congress for the 2026-2031 tenure, under the motto “Solidarity-Democracy-Discipline-Innovation-Development”, took place at the National Convention Centre in Ha Noi on the morning of June 3. The congress will be held from June 3 to 5.

The congress aims to focus on developing membership, improving the organisational model and enhancing operational effectiveness; investing resources and renewing approaches to carrying out representative functions, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of trade union members and workers.

The 14th Viet Nam Trade Union Congress is a congress of action. Therefore, during the 2026-2031 tenure, the Viet Nam Trade Union will launch a new emulation movement, “Good Work, High Productivity, Better Income”, building on the movement, “Good labour, Creative labour.”
