As citizens nationwide headed to the polls to elect deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels, reporters from press agencies were present at numerous polling stations across the country, capturing the solemn and festive atmosphere of the nation’s election day.

In Pictures: Journalists capture election day across Viet Nam

From early morning, as crowds eagerly made their way to polling stations to exercise their rights and fulfil their civic duties, journalists from both national and local media outlets were already on site at many voting locations to record the solemn and joyful atmosphere of this nationwide event.

Reporters noted that polling stations were brightly decorated with flags, banners, and propaganda posters, creating a festive election-day setting.
