In pictures: Spouses of Vietnamese and Singaporean PMs visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology
On the morning of May 26, Loo Tze Lui, spouse of Singaporean Prime Minster Lawrence Wong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s spouse Le Thi Bich Tran toured the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi.
The PM spouses observed artisans from Chuong village crafting traditional Vietnamese conical hats.

At the Bronze Drum Hall, the two ladies were given a presentation about Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups, contemplating traditional attire, rituals, labour tools, and historical household goods.
They enjoyed a pleasant conversation during the visit.

The two ladies were presented with the Architectural Garden, which showcases ten folk structures representing different types of various ethnic groups and cultural regions.

Chuong craft village artisans introduced traditional Vietnamese conical and new conical hats.
The two ladies listened to an introduction about brocade weaving techniques by a local artisan and had the opportunity to try weaving.
They enjoyed tea, traditional cakes, and performances of Quan Ho folk songs from Bac Ninh, as well as Vietnamese and Singaporean music.
