In Pictures: Visitors pay respects to heroic martyrs at Le Thi Rieng Park

During the month of July, as the whole country is commemorating the 79th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), many groups of veterans, businesses, and visitors from all over the country pay their respects to the fallen heroes at Le Thi Rieng Park.

Amidst the solemn atmosphere at Le Thi Rieng Park, many people from Ho Chi Minh City in general and visitors from all over the country have come to offer incense, flowers, and offerings, expressing their gratitude to the fallen heroes. Among them are comrades and family members of fallen soldiers who arrived to light incense sticks, hoping to find their loved ones among the remains of fallen soldiers that have been and are being discovered.

In recent days, Le Thi Rieng Park in Hoa Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, has become a popular destination for many city residents. Many brought fresh flowers, incense, and offerings to commemorate the heroic martyrs during the search and excavation of their remains.

In front of the monument to the late General Secretary Tran Phu, the memorial plaque commemorates the heroic martyrs who laid down their lives during the Tet Offensive and Uprising in 1968.
