Infographic: Gold bars and rings post sharp losses on August 14

According to the Statistics Office, the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) in August is estimated to have climbed by 1.5% from the previous month and 14.4% year on year. In the first eight months of 2026, the IIP increased by 11.9% year on year, the highest growth rate recorded for the eight-month period in many years.
