Infographic: SJC gold bar prices surge by over 1 million VND per tael on January 9

Global gold prices rose to 4,182 USD per ounce on October 16 as US Treasury yields declined and the US dollar weakened. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar prices were quoted at 140.9–143.9 million VND per tael on the afternoon of the same day, up 600,000 VND per tael for both buying and selling prices.
