On May 8, global gold prices declined as the US dollar strengthened and the Federal Reserve (FED) decided to maintain interest rates, with gold trading at 3,333 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars were traded at 120.5 million VND per tael, while plain gold rings were priced at 116.6 million VND per tael.
