Thai Binh Province's Keo Pagoda holds a Spring Festival (starting on the 4th day of the first lunar month) and an Autumn Festival (held in mid-September of the lunar calendar). However, the Autumn Festival is considered the main event of the year, lasting several days and attracting many locals and visitors.
The Autumn Festival honours and venerates Zen Master Khong Lo, the founder of the pagoda, who was highly skilled in Buddhist teachings and is credited with curing King Ly's illness, earning him the title of Imperial Chaplain.

This year, the Keo Pagoda Festival runs for eight days (from October 12 to October 19), with a variety of spiritual and cultural activities, and traditional folk games held across various locations within the Keo Pagoda Special National Relic Site.
