The event features a diverse range of activities across multiple locations, including President Ho Chi Minh Statue Park and Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Lam Son Park in front of the Municipal Theatre, the Export Showroom at 92 - 96 Nguyen Hue Street (District 1), as well as various historical sites, cultural landmarks, tourist attractions, and iconic structures throughout Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the organisers, this year's festival serves as a crucial bridge to elevate Vietnam’s global presence while reaffirming the importance of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of the Vietnamese Ao Dai. Additionally, the festival is expected to create positive socio-economic impacts, boost tourism, and drive the growth of the fashion, handicraft, and service industries. It also presents opportunities for businesses to access new markets and expand cooperation and development.
The festival celebrates the elegance of the Ao Dai through artistic performances, strengthening intergenerational connections with Vietnam’s rich historical and cultural values.
The event also commemorates significant historical milestones, such as the 1,985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising—a symbol of patriotism and the resilient spirit of Vietnamese women—and the 115th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910 – 2025), honouring women’s immense contributions to the nation’s development and progress.
