The establishment of Vietnamese 'Ao dai' Heritage Clubs in many countries across continents in recent times is an initiative and effort of the members of the Vietnamese 'Ao dai' Heritage Club in preserving, promoting and advertising the value of 'Ao dai' in particular and Vietnamese cultural heritage in general.

At the ceremony, Dang Thi Bich Lien, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and President of the Women's Cultural Heritage Club, congratulated and highly appreciated the significance of establishing the Vietnam 'Ao dai' Heritage Club in China.
Bich Lien emphasised that the 'ao dai' is not only a symbol of cultural tradition, the gentleness, grace and dignity of women, a costume worn in solemn events and festivals of the community and family, but the ao dai is also a work of art, a delicate craft. It is a symbol and a subject of endless creative inspiration for designers and artists, she added.
The establishment and launch of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in China is expected to mark an important milestone in promoting and honoring the value of Vietnamese costumes and culture to international friends in general, as well as in China in particular.
The Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in China will be chaired by Dr Pham Thi Thanh Loan, General Director of Viet Viet - Guangdong Tourism and Trade Services Co., Ltd.
According to Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club, the establishment of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in China is a strong testament to the deep affection of the Vietnamese community in China, always looking towards their homeland and trying to preserve and maintain the nation's heritage values.
Through this meaningful cultural bridge, in the coming time, there will be more events connecting and promoting trade, culture, education, and tourism between Vietnam and China.
