Entering its third year, this year’s programme marks the largest festival of its kind in Viet Nam, bringing together game agencies, companies and Korean gaming communities and fans in Viet Nam for on-site Korean game experiences and the latest industry trend sharing.

The event is co-organised by the Korean Cultural Centre in Viet Nam, the Korean Game Culture Foundation, the Korea Creative Content Agency, the Korea Copyright Protection Agency, and VTC Online.

The organisers emphasised that this year’s programme will strongly expand on direct, on-site interactive showcases allowing audiences and communities to immediately engage and experience Korean games at the event venue.

The programme includes the qualifier round and final round for its E-sports competition across three major gaming titles popular in both the Republic of Korea and Viet Nam, including League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, and CrossFire.

The final tournaments will be broadcast live directly from the central stage, expecting strong audience engagement and festival-driven momentum.

Alongside gaming showcases, the event will also host professional industry events including: a keynote presentation on the game industry ecosystem; direct business trade consultations between Korean and Vietnamese game companies led by the Korea Creative Content Agency; a joint copyright panel discussion co-chaired by the Korea Creative Content Agency and the Viet Nam Copyright Protection Centre under the Department of Broadcasting and Electronic Information, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

According to Choi Seung Jin, Director of the Korean Cultural Centre in Viet Nam, Korean Game Week goes beyond the introduction of Korean gaming culture in Viet Nam, serving also as a platform to foster deeper industry exchange and cooperation between the two countries’ game sectors.

Previously, from November 13 to 18, Le Quang Tu Do, Director-General for Broadcasting, Television and Electronic Information under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism led a delegation of Vietnamese agencies and game companies to the Republic of Korea for G-star 2025, a major game festival event hosted by the Republic of Korea under its official invitation framework.
