Lao Bao Prison remains...
Nhan Dan Online - Lao Bao Prison, located in Lao Bao town, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri central province, was once supposed to be "hell on earth" in the early years of the 19th century. It is over 3 km far from the Lao Bao border gate and nearly 80 km from Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province where the French colonialist imprisoned and exiled many Vietnamese patriotic and revolutionary soldiers. The relics still reflects lessons and examples of brave and loyal patriots.
