General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President of Viet Nam To Lam, his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly, and a high-ranking delegation of the country arrived in Singapore in the early morning of May 29, beginning a state visit to the country until May 31, at the invitation of President of the Republic of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam and his spouse.
During the visit, the Vietnamese leader will deliver a keynote address at the Shangri-La Dialogue at the invitation of Director-General and Chief Executive of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Bastian Giegerich.
