On behalf of the staff of the Lao Embassy in the RoK, Ambassador Songkane Luangmuninthone conveyed congratulations to the Party, the State, and the people of Viet Nam, as well as to the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK and the Vietnamese community in the RoK, on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
Expressing his delight at the great achievements attained by the Party, the State, and the people of Viet Nam over 80 years of struggle for independence, nation-building, and development, Ambassador Songkane Luangmuninthone expressed his confidence that, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, the Vietnamese people will continue to reap successes in all fields and move firmly into a new era – an era of nation’s rising.
Emphasising the enduring tradition of friendship between the two countries, Ambassador Songkane Luangmuninthone affirmed: “The special solidarity between Viet Nam and Lao is a priceless legacy fostered by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kaysone Phomvihane. This is an irreplaceable foundation that will always be cherished and promoted by generations of leaders and the people of both countries.”
On behalf of the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK, Ambassador Vu Ho expressed profound gratitude for the warm sentiments and meaningful presence of the Lao Embassy in the RoK on this significant national occasion of Viet Nam.
Ambassador Vu Ho stressed that the Vietnamese people will forever treasure the loyal companionship of the Lao people throughout historical periods, considering it a model symbol of international solidarity. “The special relationship between Viet Nam and Lao has been nurtured and built by generations of leaders and the people of both countries during the struggle for national independence as well as in the process of national construction and development today. The bond of comradeship and brotherhood between the two peoples will always be valued, preserved, and further strengthened,” Ambassador Vu Ho affirmed.
In a warm atmosphere of friendship, officials of the Vietnamese Embassy and the Lao Embassy in the RoK shared memories and recalled the close-knit, enduring tradition of solidarity between the peoples of Viet Nam and Laos.
