The official telegram states that in order to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, the government plans to continue organising online and in-person groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of major projects nationwide. These events are scheduled to take place on August 19, 2025.
The Prime Minister has requested ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, chairmen of the board, general directors of corporations and general companies to urgently direct agencies, units, project management boards, and contractors to mobilise maximum resources to complete investment procedures to start assigned projects; and accelerate the construction progress of ongoing projects to ensure timely inauguration and put into operation of major projects and works under the responsibility of the sector and affiliated agencies, units and localities.
Each ministry, sector, locality, group, or corporation is expected to have at least two projects or works eligible for either groundbreaking or inauguration to mark the 80th anniversary of the National Day.
Regarding the preparation of the exhibition on socio-economic achievements to commemorate the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Prime Minister requests that ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and chairmen of People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to urgently develop plans to exhibit socio-economic development achievements of their ministries, sectors and localities at the National Exhibition and Fair Centre in Dong Anh District, Ha Noi.
