National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended and presented the First-Class Labour Medal as a reward from the Party and State to the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ngai Province.
Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Bui Thi Quynh Van, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Quang Ngai Province, reviewed the heroic tradition of the army and people of Quang Ngai.
She also expressed gratitude for the great contributions of previous generations of revolutionary predecessors, revolutionary elders; the boundless sacrifices of compatriots and comrades who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the longevity of the nation, for the prosperous and happy life of the people.
Speaking at the ceremony on behalf of the Party and State leaders, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man congratulated the great achievements that the Party Committee, administration and people of Quang Ngai Province have achieved over the past 50 years.
He emphasised that on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Ba To Uprising and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Ngai Province, the Party Committee, the government and the people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ngai Province have the right to be proud of the fine traditions of the land with a long history, rich in patriotic traditions, traditions of solidarity, revolutionary heroes, always at the forefront of the cause of national liberation, building and firmly defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, striving to rise up, gaining many important achievements, and making worthy contributions to the great cause of the Party and the nation.
