The Dien Hong Award is expected to improve the quality and effectiveness of information and communication about the activities of the National Assembly and People’s Councils.

The NA Office in coordination with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, and Vietnam Television will jointly organise the Dien Hong Award.

After four months of launching, the organising board had received 3,328 entries as of April 30, 2023, from 171 press agencies and seven offices of NA delegations and the People’s Council.

The jury decided to present awards to 67 best press works in all categories.

The first Dien Hong Award Ceremony will be broadcast live on June 9 evening on Vietnam Television’s VTV1 channel, the Voice of Vietnam's VOV1 channel, and the National Assembly Television’s channel 7, in addition to local radio and television stations.
