In his letter, Chairman Man expressed his pleasure at the robust development of the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the Philippines since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties, particularly after their relationship was elevated to a strategic partnership in 2015.
He highlighted the comprehensive and active growth of bilateral relations in all areas, including effective cooperation through the parliamentary channel, both bilaterally and at regional and global inter-parliamentary forums.
He expressed his wish to work closely with Escudero to further enhance the relationship between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the Philippine Senate.
He also hoped for practical activities celebrating the 10th anniversary of strategic partnership, the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties, contributing to further consolidating the friendship and cooperation between the two countries for the benefits of their people and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
