This year’s tournament sees the participation of five teams: Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, Unify Binh Duong, and Quy Nhon City. The teams will play in a round-robin format and the four best-performing teams will qualify for the next round.
The first and second-placed teams will compete in the final, while the third and fourth-placed teams will compete in the third-place playoff.
Each match will last 36 minutes, divided into three 12-minutes periods.
In the opening game, Da Nang defeated Quy Nhon City 3-1. The final match is scheduled to take place on July 15.
According to the organisers, the tournament provides an opportunity to promote beach football and advertise the potential of marine tourism in Binh Dinh Province.
