The forum is a national-level event aimed at promoting Viet Nam’s innovation ecosystem in the context of the digital economy, artificial intelligence, automation, and new economic models that are reshaping the global economy.
With the theme “Developing human capital resources for startups and innovation in the new era”, the forum aims to strengthen connections, cooperation, and investment, while also promoting strategic vision for the startup community.
This is also a practical activity in response to the spirit of a facilitating Government, promoting the development of the innovation ecosystem and enhancing national competitiveness.
Doctor Dinh Viet Hoa, President of the Vietnam National Entrepreneurship Association, stressed that the forum is an important event not only for the business community and entrepreneurs, but also for the sustainable development of Viet Nam’s economy in the new context. The world is changing rapidly under the impact of the digital economy, artificial intelligence, automation, and innovative business models. To move forward, Viet Nam needs determined founders, a dynamic startup ecosystem, and a high-quality workforce with a global mindset.
Speaking at the forum, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Türkiye in Viet Nam Korhan Kemik said that human resources development is the foundation of innovation and has been a priority for Türkiye since its founding. According to him, Türkiye’s experience shows that investment in people is only effective when it is linked with stable institutions, inclusive policies, and adaptive capacity.
The ambassador affirmed that the most important lesson from Türkiye is that human resources development must be long-term, comprehensive, and associated with digital transformation, fairness, and a spirit of innovation. These are values of common significance to all countries.
Meanwhile, Professor, Doctor Dinh Xuan Dung, member of the Sub-committee for Documents of the 14th National Party Congress and Senior Adviser to the National Startup Association, said that developing human capital resources is a key factor enabling Viet Nam to enter a growth phase based on knowledge and technology. With a workforce that is competent, creative, and ambitious, Viet Nam can absolutely build market-leading enterprises capable of international competition.
One of the highlights of this year’s forum is the third National Aesthetic Industry Congress, which brings together leading experts, beauty technology enterprises, and research institutes. The event opens up cooperation opportunities in aesthetic technology, health and beauty care, digital transformation, and the development of high-quality human resources. This is a fast-growing service sector that generates many new business models and makes a significant contribution to the economy.
Jang Hyo Kwan, President of the Medical Aesthetics Association of the Republic of Korea, assessed Viet Nam as a market with huge potential, with rapidly developing spa and beauty infrastructure. He expressed his hope that the combination of the Republic of Korea’s aesthetic technology and the Vietnamese market will expand business opportunities in Asia, India, and Europe, while affirming the close cooperative relationship between the two countries.
The forum is expected to drive Viet Nam’s startup ecosystem, creating an environment in which young talent and innovative projects are supported, connected, and invested in. It is also a practical contribution from the business community towards the goal of making Viet Nam a nation strong in innovation in the new era.
