Speaking at the event, member of the Party Central Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh, informed the delegates on the operation and efforts to step up the digital transformation process of the newspaper, over the past years.
Minh, who is also Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association emphasised, that Nhan Dan Newspaper has played a vanguard role in popularising the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies and laws to the public, serving an important information channel to create consensus among the people.
He highly appreciated the development achievements of Ha Tinh province, stating that the close coordination between the two sides will help to promote the land and people of Ha Tinh, to readers at home and abroad.
For his part, the Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee briefed the participants on the socio-economic development results in Ha Tinh.
He expressed his hope that Nhan Dan Newspaper will continue working side by side with the province in communication work, particularly on such topics as building new rural areas and the local authorities’ effort to ensure social welfare and care for disadvantaged people.
