Over 700 productions to join the 41st National Television Festival

More than 100 television companies from across the country will gather in the northern port city of Hai Phong, for the 41st National Television Festival, scheduled to be held from March 15-18.

This is the biggest event for television producers to meet and exchange their working experiences.

Over 700 television productions have been nominated for awards in 11 categories, including children’s shows, reportage, short reportage, science-education shows, talk shows, documentaries, ethnic language shows, music shows, stage performances, television dramas, and videos on digital platforms.

Reportage and short reportage categories account for most of any section. Short reportage received 140 entries while reportage attracted 138 entries.

Accompanying the 41st National Television Festival, Vietnam Television (VTV)’s “Tam long Viet” (Vietnam's Heart) foundation will organise several charity activities in Hai Phong, such as donating breeding cows to several disadvantaged households, to help create livelihoods for economic development and awarding scholarships to students in need, among others.
