The exhibition features 66 photos and is divided into three sections, with the first including ten photos about the legendary general’s hometown and family, said museum director Vu Thi Tuyet Nga.
They also depict General Giap as a steadfast revolutionary, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh and the eldest brother of the Vietnamese armed forces.
The second part, comprised of 29 photos, focuses on key milestones in General Giap’s career, from the establishment of the Vietnamese army to the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
The final section features 27 photos showing General Giap’s deep sentiments toward Dien Bien and the residents’ respect and love for the commander-in-chief.
