Receiving Norwegian Ambassador Stale Torstein Risa, Prime Minister Dung confirmed that Vietnam will do its utmost to deepen the bilateral multifaceted ties in various fields, such as politics, economics, education and science-technology, for the mutual benefits of the two nations.
He said he hopes the pair will work further together at both regional and international forums, and asked Norway to continue raising its voice against China’s illegal placement of the Haiyang Shiyou 981 oil rig in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone.
Risa told his host that there is large potential for both countries to boost their affiliations in trade, telecommunication and the environment.
He thanked the Vietnamese Government for creating all possible conditions for him to fulfil his mission, while declaring himself impressed at the country’s many achievements which have raised its position in the world.
Greeting Saudi Arabian diplomat Salah A. H. Sharhan, Prime Minister Dung affirmed that Vietnam is willing to create all possible conditions for Saudi Arabian firms to conduct long-term business in the country.
He called on the two nations to further co-operation in politics, foreign affairs, economics and tourism.
Ambassador Sharhan said his country always considers Vietnam a key diplomatic partner and vows to do its utmost to develop bilateral co-operation in all areas.
