The programme was broadcast live on VTV2 of Viet Nam Television and attracted widespread attention from audiences nationwide

Attending the event were Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; representatives of leaders from relevant ministries, sectors, and agencies; and a large number of spectators from the capital city of Ha Noi.

The political art programme was held to mark the 96th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026), 40 years since the country embarked on the Doi Moi (Renewal) process following the Party’s 6th National Congress; and to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress as well as the coming of the 2026 Lunar New Year.

The programme sought to revisit the Party’s glorious traditions and reaffirm its comprehensive leadership role throughout the revolutionary process, from the struggle for national independence to national construction and development in the period of renovation and international integration.

It also served as an activity expressing profound gratitude from today’s generation to the previous generations who devoted themselves and made sacrifices for national independence and the Party’s revolutionary cause. Through this, the programme contributed to nurturing revolutionary ideals among children and young people, helping the younger generation gain a deeper understanding of the history, responsibility, and mission in the cause of national construction.

With a comprehensive artistic format, meticulous staging, rich ideological content, and high aesthetic value, “The Road Ahead” was not only a culturally meaningful event but also helped to foster an atmosphere of optimism, unity, and forward-looking spirit, demonstrating the determination of the entire Party, people, and armed forces on the path of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

In addition, the programme saw the involvement of a large contingent of musicians, dancers, and professional performers, forming a synchronised and substantial artistic force capable of meeting the demands of staging large-scale works imbued with epic qualities and ideological depth.

The political art programme conveyed a message of firm confidence in the country’s bright future under the leadership of the Party, with the aspiration to build a strong, prosperous, and happy Viet Nam.
