To ensure the completion of the first phase of the schools (launched in 2025) and their simultaneous inauguration on September 5, with the aim of enabling them to be put into operation and use from the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year, the Prime Minister requested concerted efforts to remove obstacles and bottlenecks.
He also called for the highest priority to be given to mobilising resources for the construction and completion of the schools in line with the set objectives, plans, and deadlines, while ensuring quality and safety and preventing losses, wastefulness, and misconduct.
The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Education and Training to take the lead, in coordination with relevant ministries, agencies, and localities, in strengthening inspections and supervision and strictly implementing the reporting regime to the Prime Minister on construction progress to ensure completion before August 30, 2026.
The ministry is also tasked with ensuring smooth coordination among ministries, sectors, and localities as well as promptly providing guidance and addressing difficulties and obstacles encountered by localities during implementation.
The Ministry of Construction is assigned to direct its specialised agencies to support and guide localities in expediting quality inspections and the acceptance of completed works for each component in accordance with technical standards as well as ensuring construction quality.
